Earlier today, DAS Managing Director, Hind Beljafla, gave a speech as part of the Guest Lectures series for the Emirates Competitiveness Council and World Economic Forum at Zayed University. Under the theme of Arts & Culture, Hind discussed how DAS Collection was founded along with sister Reem, and how the business of fashion design continues to grow in the UAE. Hind shared the stage with other esteemed speakers: Emirati filmmaker Ali F. Mostafa, American authoress & University of Colombia dean Carole Becker, and South African singer & humanitarian Yvonne Chaka Chaka.
